Monteco is a Canadian clean technology company that develops and launches environmentally sustainable products in the water and energy sectors and has been a leader in the storm and wastewater industries for over 20 years.
Monteco uses a unique technology transfer approach which couples knowledge and experience in areas such as strategy, finance, marketing and government affairs. Monteco has achieved expertise in technology sourcing, proprietary technology development, technical and commercial assessments, development of bench scale to full scale demonstration units, engineering and manufacturing. Since its inception, Monteco has developed over a dozen patented technologies, the majority of which are commercialized and are revenue generating.
Monteco operates a 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility which focuses on the production of fibreglass reinforced plastics, and a 23,000 square foot R&D facility which houses one of Canada’s largest water hydraulics laboratories along with a team of scientists and research professionals.
Monteco currently has six primary subsidiaries that include four operating and two development stage companies, and was the founder of BIOX, Canada’s largest biodiesel producer. Monteco has recently launched a number of new CleanTech products into the North American, European and Pacific Rim markets.
